Jim Szoke returned to WBT as Sports Director in June 2005. Jim first worked with WBT's Sports staff from 1989 to 2000. He has served as a Color Commentator for Carolina Panthers since their inception in 1995. Throught the years, Jim has been a play-by-play voice for the Charlotte 49ers and Davidson College, and has called football and basketball games for Raycom Sports Television. He's a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has a bachelor's degree in journalism. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sandra, and has two children, Andy and Holly.
